Originally founded in 1885 by the Society of the Sacred Heart, a French order of cloistered nuns, The Grosse Pointe Academy boasts a rich history of empowering young learners to aspire to a fulfilling life.
Since its incorporation as an independent school in 1969, the Academy has served as a bastion of ambition, scholarship, and social responsibility. The Academy Fund is our annual appeal to support The Grosse Pointe Academy. It is the most important fundraising effort of the year and provides ongoing support to the operating budget, allowing The Grosse Pointe Academy to offer competitive salaries, professional development, and unique educational experiences, while keeping tuition as affordable as possible.Learn More
The Action Auction is an annual event held each May. The auction helps enrich academic offerings, raise scholarship and tuition assistance funds, and support the the preservation of the Academy’s historic campus.
